The San Damiano Story

This is a sterling silver "replica" of the large wooden icon cross which still hangs in St Clare Basilica in Assisi, Italy. St Francis of Assisi was praying before this crucifix when he heard the voice of God commanding him to "rebuild my church." 

Known as an icon cross, it contains the figure of Christ and images of Mary as well as other saints and people associated with the incident of Christ's crucifixion.

This crucifix is ideal for anyone with a special devotion to St Francis. A meaningful gift for Adult Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

The Paternoster Cross

This sterling silver crucifix has a cross that resembles what is known as the Paternoster Cross or the Our Father Cross (See Photo). It is made up of a larger circle or bead in the centre with ten smaller ones forming the shape of a cross.

It reminds one of the rosary and is a suitable gift for newly-baptised Catholics.
